![]() ![]() I would like to revise this, but I don't know how else to still be able to pull the wheel up close to race & then push it forward out of the way for FPS w/ the keyboard in my lap - except to keep the current / adjustable Playseat stand. I typically put my keyboard on my lap w/ my mouse on a rolling file box (to the right by the legal pad). I play FPS & everything on this box, so there are a LOT of hours in that chair & the cushioning is shot. I'll remove the old seat, add a plywood deck + 1" x 10" sides & back prop & screw the X-rocker in place. The difference between a laser scanned track and a typical "hand built" track like in Project Cars is enormous if you have a decent FFB wheel. Assetto has brands like Ferrari, Chevy, (Ford is on the way) where Project Cars has a bigger focus on dedicated race cars like LMP and open wheel cars.Īnother plus for Assetto is the laser scanned tracks. Assetto Corsa is more of a pain but not TOO bad in that regard.Ĭar selection is about equal between the two. Project Cars has better multiplayer with a simple lobby system that works well for the most part. ![]() The career is really straight forward and simple - basically just a bunch of hand crafted special events that you work through. actual specific series flag rules, pit stop rules, stuff like that.)Īssetto Corsa has a better driving model and better force feedback. Project Cars has a MUCH better career mode, and actual "racing" (i.e. ![]()
